Dolomitic meal

The dolomitic meal is a valuable lime fertilizer designed for soil over-acidity reduction which is to apply in autumn or in spring.

The dosage depends on the soil pH level and its mechanical composition:

• acid soil (pH is less than 4,5) – 5-6 t/ha;
  
• medium acid soil (pH is 4,5 – 5,2) – 4,5-5 t/ha;
  
• sub-acid soil (рН 5,2 – 5,6) – 3,5-4,5 t/ha.
  

For the light-textured soil the dosage is 1,5 times lower and for heavy-textured clay soil is higher for 10-15 %.

For a greater effect, the limestone meal should be spread evenly over the entire arable area. If the agriculturist applies the full dose of fertilizer, the effect will last for 8-10 years.

The dolomitic meal has no expiry date.
